Hello, I’ve been taking this solution on and off for about a year.i’m 39, 5’4, and weigh about 170-lbs.
sadly ive been drinking a full shot to help with my anxiety and i feel it works great however about after 3 weeks of doing it everyday ive noticed i get grumpy which very unlike me and the anxiety could shift. I’ve been now taking half after reading this and i find it’s the perfect amount. two questions. Is it true that it’s best to take the solution on an empty stomache first thing in the morning and not to consume anything for at least 30 minutes after taking the shot?
next question is, if thats my weight and height with age is there perhaps less i should take or a little more?

Paul: Hello, thank you for your question. If you could please clarify what you mean when you say that most “magnesium chloride is only 47%,” that would be great. This way, we can sufficiently answer your question. Thank you!

I want to make sure I have my dose of magnesium correct. What I think I’m reading is: If I mix 33 grams of your Magnesium Chloride USP with 1 liter of water, I will get roughly twenty 1.5 oz doses that will contain approximately 180mg of Magnesium in each 1.5 oz dose? Thank you for clarifying before I purchase.

To those asking for the ratio to mix a single dose – I think this is right:
The “batch” ratio is 33g powder to 1 liter (33 ounces) of liquid. At 1.5 ounces per dose, the batch makes just over 20 doses per liter (or quart, if you will). So 33 grams of powder for 20 doses = just over 1.5 grams of powder for a single dose (33÷20= 1.65). According to a baking-conversion calculator, 1.65g is less than 1/3 tsp and more than 1/4 tsp. So I will be using a heaping quarter teaspoon per dose, mixed in however much liquid I want. Unless someone proves my math is wrong, which won’t surprise me in the least, lol.

To answer Jim C’s question: found it on amazon in questions about the magnesium chloride solution: 1 Tablespoon of the solution of the 33 grams of magnesium chloride per 1 liter = @500mg of magnesium. 33 grams of magnesium chloride = 2 Tablespoons + 1 Teaspoon.

I’d like to mix the liquid every morning, and am looking to achieve 250mg of ELEMENTAL magnesium, the equivalent of 2000mg in pill form. How many teaspoons (or fraction of a teaspoon) of powder would result in this single dosage? Thanks!

Violeta: We’re so sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience when making this solution! If you didn’t drink much of the solution, the adverse effects shouldn’t be too bad. However, we’d like to suggest getting an opinion from your healthcare provider just to be safe. The chemical properties of Magnesium Chloride combined with metal causes the chemical to oxidize any metal it comes into contact with which causes rusting and is something you don’t want to ingest. This is why we recommend stirring this solution with a wooden spoon. A detox bath may be helpful, but again, we suggest checking with your doctor. Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are doing better.

Nathan: We have specially formulated our Magnesium Chloride solution to contain about 180 mg of elemental Magnesium, which is the most common dosage recommended by doctors.

Ruth: We recommend storing your Magnesium solution in a glass container in a dark cool place and away from direct sunlight. Magnesium solution could react with plastic over time and it is not safe to store your solution in a plastic container.
